Campaign against FGM

CORD has been fighting to end FGM in Somalia for the past 2 decades and still very much committed to continue the demand of ending this heinous practice in the country. The fight against FGM is tough, to win it, we need collective effort to raise enough awareness to end the generational suffering of Somali women. We are glad that our effort has paid off in stopping a number of parents from committing this practice thanks to our donor partners Bread for the world for providing us with funds to keep fighting this practice. CORD has never been more committed to fight this practice which we are in more ways than ever before thanks again to our partners Bread for the world for their generosity which will safe more girls from this act in years to come.
